We’re not hiring for any positions right now. No roles are open, and we’d rather say so plainly than leave last year’s listings up and let people apply into a void.

What we hire for when we do

Netgen has been in Shimla since 2014, building government portals, business systems and the security and hosting behind them. Hiring follows that work, so openings tend to fall into three areas:

• Development — back-end and full-stack engineers on the platforms and departmental portals we build and maintain.
• Digital marketing — SEO, paid advertising and social media, run against agreed targets for our digital marketing clients.
• Outreach and counselling — student-facing roles supporting our training programme.

That’s not a list of vacancies. It’s what to expect when one opens, so you know whether this page is worth watching.

If you’re starting out

Our internship and industrial training programme runs year-round from the Kasumpati office, on live client projects supervised by the developers who ship them. It takes applications whether or not we’re hiring, and it’s the one route into the team that’s open right now.
