Where the scope line sits
An estimate covers the screens and workflows mapped during planning. Three things sit outside it deliberately, and we say which before you sign rather than after:
- Hosting, monitoring and maintenance. A separate service with its own contract, so it’s never bundled in as an afterthought and never quietly dropped — see cloud hosting & AMC.
- Writing the content. We structure, migrate and lay out the copy and images you supply. Producing them from scratch is a separate conversation, not an assumption.
- Integrations agreed after the plan. A new payment method or a new external system to talk to gets quoted against the plan rather than absorbed into it.
Naming those three up front is what stops a fixed-scope build turning into a disagreement at handover.
